The reason why I bought a Smith's School of English Franchise?

I had become completely disgruntled with the way English was being taught in Japan and the way English teachers and students were being treated here in Japan. Everyone here in Japan knows that the English conversation teaching business is a multi-billion dollar industry; however after spending a few years teaching in Japan, it seemed like I could never find that "pot of gold" at the end of the proverbial rainbow. Even the best jobs available don't offer any kind of salary augmentation, recognition of effort, or tenure. The students are forced to pay outrageous amounts of money of which the teachers receive only a tiny fraction.

Owning my own Smith's School of English franchise is unique compared to all the other jobs I worked at or researched in Japan. Smith's School of English Franchise system is the only business to offer the foreign community the lucrative end of this multi-billion dollar industry. Smith's School provides me with an income stream that the big name schools and universities can't compete with. My monthly income is plenty now and still growing. Many of the franchises I talk to at the regularly held Smith's franchisee seminars declare similar or greater incomes than mine. As a teaching franchise owner I can make my own schedule to suit my personal lifestyle and income expectations. Smith's provides me with full business and teacher training, an outstanding curriculum; competent emergency teacher substitution, a great Japanese sales team. I mean the sales team can really sell. Tenure, of course is unlimited, you can run your franchise for as long as you like.

At last the Japanese community can have teachers who are competent, well-compensated, proud of what they do, and fully ready to empower them with the English language.
