I now own two Smith's School of English Franchises. Both of my English schools are in Kansai, Japan. I rotate my teaching at both schools to maintain quality and employ backup teachers to fill the rest of the schedule. For me, owning my Smith's franchises is like going to business school and getting paid. I had no business experience when I started, so the supportive environment at Smith's helped me gain the skills and confidence to manage people and run my own business. I intend to return to my native Canada within the next two years. I will leave my schools here under management creating a passive income stream for myself. And of course in the meantime I can make a living doing something I love talking.
