Head Office teacher Speaks.

Hi, my name is Wendy and I am a teacher at Kyobashi head office. It has been three years since my first day here, and I have to say that I've really enjoyed working in this friendly and supportive environment.

Before coming to Japan, I had little experience in teaching adults in small classes since I was a high school teacher back home. Imagine how relieved I was to find out that a two-day training session was provided together with a teacher-friendly curriculum! My time at Kyobashi has also been made pleasant by the great team of teachers and staff here. I am most impressed with the administration staffs who are efficient and professional, but friendly and easy-going at the same time.

Since SSE is a franchise system, some might ask why I haven't started up my own after 3 years at the head office. Well, I did. In 2004, I took over a franchise in need of repair temporarily. But I soon discovered that I was not prepared for the stress of owning and building up a school that was in a state of disrepair. When I talked to Mark about my decision to quit the franchise, I was grateful that he understood and let me return to teaching at the head office. I've never liked stress and probably never will. That's another reason I like it here at Kyobashi, flexible teaching hours and schedule. It is never a problem if I want to take some time off work as long as I notify in advance. This is really great as I can have ample time for holidays off the peak season!

Special thanks to the team! Korekara mo yoroshiku onegai shimasu
