My First Trial Lesson

Today I did my first, trial lesson, and “wow” what can I say.

I had a lot of questions before I started. How will I determine their levels, how will I know what lesson I will go for? I had two trial students at once, so I had to be more sharp.  I took a deep breath, relaxed and prepared my documents. My future students arrived I offered them a chair and cold glass of ice tea. Then  handed them each one of our pamphlets. My greetings where finished, so I double checked I had everything  and allowed our Head Office ladies to discuss them through the process.

So I started my trial lesson and I was surprised to learn how fun and fast it was. I did  introductions and The Morning routine for my lesson plan. I corrected their mistakes and my students finished with a smile. After the lesson  I offered them a chair outside in our lounge, and handed over to our Head Office ladies again.

All in all it was more relaxed and enjoyable then I expected and the best thing is we have two new students.

Good job, Simon! I remember how nervous I was before my first trial lesson! I still tend to get a little nervous and try to make everything perfect before they get here!

Congratulations on not only finishing your first trial, but getting2 new students! I sounds like you are really enjoying your new job! Keep up the good work.

    Congratulations!

The Smith’s team really does make it easy for the teacher to focus on teaching, without the worry of doing sales or paperwork. Nice and easy for us, and it gives the prospective student(s) a better lesson. Well done!
