On October 26 there will be an International People Festival
held at the Sakai Higashi City Hall. I went to this event last year and I can recommend it as a fun day out. There will be world music and great dancing. Last year there was some awesome Thai kick boxing demonstrations. However, the main reason I will be heading down is for the international food stalls. I love wandering around smelling the interesting aromas coming from the food stalls. Admission is free and you can find out all about the days festivities at this link (開催概要).
Why not come down and join me for an international beer and a meal. I’ll be the guy in the Smiths School of English shirt.
See you there!

Tim-
I love the international festival held all over Japan. I highly recommend everyone to attend one at some point. Thanks for bringing this one to everyone’s attention.
And I have to agree with you- the food stalls are tops. Personally I’m looking forward to eating some spicy mexican food at the next international festival in Ohtsu.
