Smith’s School of English Soap Box

My class of 8 and 9 year old boys loves insects! In their recent lessons the boys learned to ask and answer questions like, ‘Where does it live?’, and, ‘how many wings does it have?’. I was a good way for them to pick up some vocab that was of interest to them, and they really paid attention! As part of their future lessons at Smith’s School of English Takarazuka, they will expand on their ability to talk about animals. After they are comfortable with the questions, we will start on adjectives to describe the animals’ movement and appearance. I only wish they didn’t always ask to talk about scorpions!
