Just finishing up here at Smith’s School of English Kyobashi tonight.
One of our coaches just finished telling me about how enjoyable one of here lessons was in particular today, that’s just nice for me to hear. Apparently this student is going to interviews to work as a secretary and had lots to say about it and lots more to ask our Coach here at Kyobashi. It’s part of my concern that we have a pleasant environment for the students. When I hear comments from fellow coaches like that I know things are going well.
We had two unknown but very pleasanat ladies walk into the school today unannounced. They were interested in taking a trial lesson and after a nice chat and a few cups of tea they had all their questions answered by the staff and made a reservation for a double trial next week. I’ll be looking forward to that
In other news, today seemed to be the day of sweets! I came in a little early today to work on the computer a bit. The coaches started coming in later in the day and i was immediately bombarded with cream puffs. apparently there was a surplus and they needed help eating them all. Not long after that, a student came bearing white chocolate cookies from Hokkaido! A nice souvenir from a recent trip. By the time lessons started to wind down the cream puffs came BACK out. I guess the other coaches and students hadn’t managed to finish them off yet. As the final piece de resistance, another coach just came around with fruit filled chocolate.
I guess I’m officially off my diet
Oh well. I like sweets better than diets anyway. For now I’ll call it a night!
