Job Description

Kyobashi School is a profit center and training center Smith's School of English franchise system. It has maintained a continually growing presence and profitability in the Kyobashi area. We provide highly motivated and professional teaching to highly motivated students. The Kyobashi school student body is 100% adult. Children are not taught at this Smith's location. The Kyobashi Profit Share Teacher is responsible for all aspects of the English school management. We are presently accepting offers of interest for the position of Profit Share Teacher at Kyobashi.

We would like to have this position filled by 1st November 2004. However, we remain flexible within reason on an earlier or even slightly later start.

Reporting to Mark Smith, the founder and Chairman of the Smith's School of English franchise system. Smith employs transparent accountability agreements (AA) in management. You will know succinctly what is required of you at all times. The terms of the AA will be designed mutually between the Profit Share Teacher (PST) and Smith.

The Kyobashi PST:

• Provide leadership for all teacher education programs, including policy administration and provision of ongoing subject matter expertise.
• Oversee instructional quality.
• Coordinate the evaluation and assessment of teacher education programs.
• Provide leadership in marketing, recruiting, advising and retention efforts.

Required qualifications include:

• Demonstrated commitment in "coaching of communicative confidence" to an adult Japanese student body using the English language as your medium.
• Desire to share Smith's School of English entrepreneurial spirit and continue to build upon Kyobashi's existing profitabilty.
  
  

Remuneration

Competitive and commensurate with experience.
