Smith's 2008 Seminar Calendar
Smith's franchise English schools opened for business in August 1996. Over the years we have accumulated a vast amount of information on what will and some may argue, more importantly, what will not make an English school in Japan a success. Of course the opposite to making an English school in Japan a success is to see it fail. To fail hurts the owner as well as the foreign owned English teaching industry in general, yet we see it happening far too often. We see teachers who know they want to do better than working in a chain school starting out with vigor and ambition only to fail soon after. Without exception every teacher owned school failure we examine comes down to a failure in knowledge. Smith's franchise system has all the knowledge you need to protect your investment. We are well equipped to show you what needs to be done and will show what should not be done. We know what works and what does not.
The purpose of our seminars is to share with our franchises what they need to know. However, an obvious benefit we see our franchises enjoying, is the great pleasure derived from being in the same room as so many other like minded professionals. In a word, camaraderie!
